Our founder Christina Chen has 30+ years’ R&D experiences in both industrial and academic areas in the field of magnetic materials and their applications.
She had worked for 9 years at EEC (Electron Energy Corporation) as the Director of Process Technology after working as a postdoc research at University of Dayton. Dr. Chen then worked at University of Dayton as a professor in Dept. of Chemical and Materials Engineering, guiding PhD & Master’s graduate students, teaching magnetics related courses. She also led Magnetics Lab before she was recruited by GE Global Research Center, where she worked for a couple of years before moving to the Silicon Valley.
She was the Principal Investigator for many research programs, which resulted in patented commercial products and near 80 publications in various professional journals. In addition to magnetic materials’ R&D, her experiences also include computer simulation for designing novel electromagnetic devices, which resulted novel magnetic devices with patented technology.
